Built for

How it works

One system, from the search to the signed job.

A homeowner types the job and the town. The page for that job in that town comes up, the quote tool prices it, the email reaches you the same minute with the search that found you, and you call first. Every part is on every site on this page, and each part has a name and a reason.

The work

All of them, on an iPhone.

Contractor sites, and the tools inside them. A page for every town, a quote tool for the trade, and a price before the call. The one for your trade is first, and every one of them opens.

And 10 more, from Seattle to Dubai. Each one opens.

What you get

Three estimating tools and a quote wizard, live on client sites

Each one prices or books the job on the contractor's own terms before anyone calls. A roof measured from satellite data, a wall turned into a block count, a move priced by the size of the home, and a quote wizard that takes the photos and books the site walk. Each was recorded on a copy of the site.

The email that follows, the same minute

Four of them, from four sites. The name, the phone, the job, the town, and the search that found the contractor. The customers are made up, and the emails are the ones the sites wrote.

Plan for Sample Contracting Co.

Sample. This company is made up.

What I understood

Sample Contracting Co. is a contractor in Tacoma, licensed in Washington. You work 12 towns in the South Sound. You want more of the jobs you are best at, and fewer of the rest. Today your site is three pages and has no page for any town but Tacoma.

What I recommend

Site. A fast site with a page for every service and every town you work, and every lead traced to its source.

What you get

  • Pages for your services. One for each service you do, named the way a homeowner searches for it.
  • Pages for your towns. The towns you work.
  • A quote wizard that asks the job, the timeline, and the budget, and takes photos.
  • Your reviews on the site, and your license number at the top of every page.
  • A dashboard on your phone, with visits, leads by source, and phone taps.
  • Every lead emailed to you the moment it is sent, and traced to the search and the town it came from.

The price

Site, $1,500. $750 to start. $750 at launch.

Your domain costs you about $15 a year. Hosting costs you nothing. There is no monthly fee on the site.

The dates

First draft 7 business days after you start, with the date written here.

Live 7 business days after you approve the draft.

What you own

Your domain is registered in your name.

To start

Reply yes. I send the invoice for the first payment, and day one is the day it is paid.

A real plan also carries search demand for your trade, by service and by town, which this one leaves out.

Every town

A page for every town you work

Each one is written for that town and for the search a homeowner there types, so a search for your trade and their town has a page to land on. Four of them, on four sites, and under them the sample's own pages, as the site would hold them.

Questions

What contractors ask first

What it costs

A Site is $1,500. A Site with Tools is $4,000. The Lead System is $5,000 to build and $1,000 a month while the ads run. There is no monthly fee on any site.

How long it takes

The first draft of a Site is ready in 7 business days. A Site with Tools takes 14. The site goes live within 7 business days after you approve the draft.

What you send

Your logo, photos of finished jobs with the town each one is in, your license number, and the towns you work. Send what you have, and I ask for the rest by text.

If you already have a site

Send me the address. I tell you in writing what it is missing, and if the answer is nothing, I say so.

How you pay

By invoice, with a card or a bank transfer. The invoice comes with your written plan. Half is due to start and half at launch, or 30 days after the first draft reaches you, whichever comes first.

Starting with a Site

Start with a Site. Step up within 90 days of launch and everything you paid counts toward a Site with Tools.

Search

Built in. Every site has a page for each service and each town, structured data for the search engines, and speed. The only monthly bill is for the ads, because the ads are the only work that happens every month.

Whose name things are in

Your domain is registered in your name, and you pay the registrar, about $15 a year. Your Google Ads account runs on your card, with you as an administrator. Your Google Business Profile is yours. I am added to each, and you can remove me.

Your competition

With the Lead System, I do not run ads for another contractor in your trade in your towns.

What I never promise

A ranking, a number of leads, or revenue. I promise the work on your plan, the dates on your plan, and the reports.

By trade

A plan for every trade

Each one opens on the plan for that trade, with the site I built for it, the recording, and the email.

Your plan

The next site here is yours.

Send your trade and your towns. The written plan, with the price on it, comes by text the same business day.
