The problem

A contractor on a job site gets his leads as form emails, mixed in with everything else on his phone. He has no one place to see who asked for what, which lead is new, and which one signed. At the end of the month he still cannot say what his marketing earned.

How it runs

Goes in

  • A form sent on the contractor’s own site
  • The search and the town that produced it

What happens

  1. The site calls one small file
  2. The lead is on his phone the same minute
  3. One tap calls, texts, or books the site walk
  4. A signed lead is moved to Won, with what the contract is worth

Comes out

  • Every lead in one place, with its photos and its search
  • Every site walk on one calendar
  • Dollars signed, next to what the ads cost

What I built

Every lead, the minute it lands

A homeowner fills in the form on his site. The name and the job are on his phone the same minute, with the photos, the search that brought the lead, and the page it landed on. The phone buzzes once, and nothing follows it.

Call, text, or book the walk

One tap calls, texts, or books the site walk. Every walk sits on one calendar with a Directions button, and On my way sends the homeowner a text with his name on it.

Won, in dollars

When a lead signs, he moves it to Won and types what the contract is worth. That becomes a dollar figure on his numbers screen, next to what the ads cost to bring it in. He sees visits, calls, requests, site walks, and dollars signed, this week against last.

Office and crew

The office and the crew each get their own login. A lead can be handed to the person running it. Crew see the job and the address, never the price.

A straight line to me

The Messages tab goes to my phone. A bad lead, a question about an ad, or photos of a finished job. Photos sent through Job Done become a project page on his site.

Where it stands

Version 1.0 is built and tested against its server, and the App Store release is next. It comes with Google Ads management and Care at no added charge.

How it is built

  1. The app is written in SwiftUI, with Liquid Glass from the standard system components. It looks and moves like the rest of an iPhone, so there is nothing new to learn.

  2. Leads reach it from the form on the client’s own site, through one small file the site calls. Every request carries the search and the town that produced it, and that is what shows on the lead.

  3. Each person has a role, owner, office, or crew. Crew see only the leads given to them, with no budget, no contract amount, and no numbers.

  4. It works with no signal. Everything done on the phone is saved there and sent when the phone is back in range.

  5. A screen test suite runs the whole team flow and a new company’s first day, with an accessibility audit on each screen.

The result

Every lead from his site is on his phone the same minute.
